From a Draft

A freelancer’s draft lands at 6pm. The facts are right, the structure is right, and it doesn’t sound like your client at all.

What It Does

Paste it as it is and the same piece comes back in the chosen voice, with its facts and structure kept. Add platforms afterwards if you want them.

Only have rough notes? Choose Notes or an Outline and you get one finished piece. Every fact in the notes is kept, and nothing is added.

How It Works

1

Paste the Draft

Up to about 2,500 words. Links in it aren’t opened.

2

Choose the Voice

Press Bring Into the Voice for the client voice you want.

3

Read Any Note

If a heading, list, paragraph, or figure differs from the draft, a note says which, so you can check before sending.

What you’re pasting
A Full DraftYou get the same piece back in this voice. Headings, lists, and figures stay in place.
Notes or an OutlineRough notes in, one finished piece out.

Worth Knowing

It teaches nothingIt’s someone else’s writing, so it’s never used to learn how the client writes.
Long drafts carry onRewriting a long draft takes a little longer. Close it and find it under In Progress.
Too long for one go?Paste a section at a time. Nothing is cut without telling you.
