Slack

Friday, 4:58: the client approves. Your team finds out on Monday, from the client, asking why nothing has gone out.

What It Does

Slack is coming soon. It is built, and it opens to every agency once it has been tested with real accounts.

Until then, a Slack address pasted in Client Settings still sends the same messages to one channel.

Finished assets and review activity post to the channel you pick for each client, so the news reaches the people doing the work.

It is a message to your own team, never a post to anybody’s audience. On a post it reads Sent, and the channel’s name stands beside it.

How It Works

1

Add to Slack

The Owner adds GoMimic to the workspace once, in Settings.

2

Pick a Channel

In Client Settings, the Owner or an Editor picks where this client’s news goes.

3

Watch the Channel

Approved work and review news arrive there. Nothing else to set.

Worth Knowing

Private channelsA private channel shows in the list once GoMimic is invited to it.
New drafts tooPing Slack when a new draft arrives is a switch for each client, off until you want it. Review activity has its own switch in Settings.
Confidential clients stay outTurn on Confidential and nothing posts to their channel.
