Comment, never edit

What It Does

From a post’s menu, make a Google Doc copy in your agency’s Google account and share it with one address. They can comment, and they can’t edit, so the text stays yours to change.

When they say yes in the Doc, Record an Outside Approval offers Google Doc as the way they approved, and the note links back to it.

How It Works

1

Connect Google Once

The Owner connects it in Settings, the same connection Google Drive uses.

2

Make the Doc

Share as a Google Doc starts on the saved approver’s address. Nothing is made until you press Make the Doc.

3

Record the Yes

Read their comments in the Doc, make your changes in GoMimic, then record the approval.

Worth Knowing

Comments stay in the DocGoMimic doesn’t read them back, so someone on your team reads them there.
Only its own filesThe connection reaches only files GoMimic made in your Drive, and can share those.
Who can make oneThe Owner and Editors, once the Owner has connected Google.
