Mailchimp

Signed off on Tuesday. On Wednesday someone rebuilds the newsletter as a campaign, and on Thursday the client spots a sentence that was fine on Tuesday.

What It Does

Mailchimp is coming soon. It is built, and it opens to every agency once it has been tested with real accounts.

An approved newsletter piece is saved in Mailchimp as a draft campaign, for the audience you picked for that client. It is the approved version, so the words the client signed are the words that arrive.

Nothing is sent to anyone. The send button stays in Mailchimp, with your team’s hand on it.

How It Works

1

Connect Mailchimp

The Owner connects it once, on Mailchimp’s own page.

2

Choose an Audience

In Client Settings, the Owner or an Editor picks the audience for this client.

3

Open the Draft

After the yes, Open in Mailchimp takes you straight to the campaign.

Worth Knowing

One audience a clientA client’s newsletter pieces go to the one audience you chose. Change Audience whenever that moves.
One Mailchimp accountAn agency connects one, and clients pick from its audiences. A client with their own account is one for Zapier, or for Copy.
Newsletter pieces onlyA LinkedIn post stays out of Mailchimp. Only the newsletter format goes.
